The Missus and I went to Roper's a while back and I ordered everything on the menu, so I could take back down south and eat myself into oblivion. Roper's is an award winning spot that has a totally righteous menu. Everything I had was great. There is parking to the right on W. Florissant. There are only a few tables, mostly for waiting. You speak through a counter/wall to order. Unlike some smaller places, you are able to see the person with a warm smile take your order. As I said, every item is righteous, but this is Saint Louis. Ribs can be had. Snouts, a little harder. Those that Jones for grease and gristle, you will find no finer snout. I used to be a C&K fan, but the last time I was at the one on Jennings Station Road, many items were out. There was the C&K on Goodfellow and Dr. King, which I am not sure is there anymore. The romantic echo of gunshots in the alleys ands streets made it a memorable, but still worthwhile experience. I digress. Go to Roper's, without stopping for GO or Marvin Gardens. Snouts a must.
